What makes the Lansinoh® bottle different from other bottles?
The Lansinoh® bottle is specially designed for breastfed babies. The Lansinoh® Bottle with NaturalWave® Nipple is clinically proven to reduce nipple confusion. The NaturalWave® Nipple enables baby to engage in the same natural sucking actions learned at the breast allowing for a smooth transition from breast to bottle and back again.
As part of the Lansinoh® Pump-Store-Feed solution, moms can pump directly into one bottle to feed right away with the NaturalWave® Nipple or store the breastmilk until needed with a bottle storage lid or nipple collar and sealing disc. The Lansinoh® bottle has a wide neck for easy filling.

When should I change the flow for my child’s NaturalWave® Nipple?
While using our Lansinoh® NaturalWave® Nipples, there is no exact age when you should switch the flow of nipple for your child. The best way to tell is by being mindful of their feeding habits. For example, if you notice that your child is sucking for a long time but still unable to get milk out as quickly as they used to, then that is an indication that they may need a faster flow nipple. However, if you do notice that milk is spilling out of baby's mouth while feeding then that is an indication that they will need a slower flow nipple.
Is there an appropriate age for slow, medium, and fast flow nipples?
Babies flow preferences with bottle nipples are related to the way they feed at the breast rather than their age. It is recommended to start a breastfed baby with a slow flow nipple. If you notice that it takes longer for them to finish a feeding than it does at the breast, and they get frustrated with feeding and pull off the nipple frequently, these are indicators that you may need to switch to a medium flow.
There are slow, medium and fast nipples. Is there a way to tell them apart?
On the bottom rim of the nipple, the slow-flow nipple reads “Size 2S”, the medium-flow reads “Size 3M” and the fast-flow reads “Size 4L”.
Do you only have a wide neck nipple?
Yes, the Lansinoh® nipple is a wide neck nipple. It enables baby to have a wide latch similar to how a baby would latch on to the breast with a wide-open mouth.
